How much does it cost to rent a car in Mazatlan?
The price depends on several variables, such as the category of car, duration of the rental and how far in advance you book it.
With Rentmaz Car Rental the cost of car rental in Mazatlan ranges from MXN$900/day for a compact car in low season. This price includes unlimited kilometers, taxes and full coverage insurance.
Do you have service at Mazatlan Airport?
Yes, we offer a free shuttle service to and from Mazatlan Airport on rentals of 4 days or more with advance notice. Our staff will pick you up at the airport and take you to our office where the car will be delivered to you.
At the end of the rental, the car must be returned to our office and from there we will take you back to the airport to catch your flight.

What is not included in my rate?
Your rate includes everything you need to drive the car, and we never make the rental depend on buying any extra product or protection. Not included:
- Fuel (return the car with the same level it had at pick-up).
- Optional protections (Full Coverage Superior or Total) and extras: baby seat, additional driver, roof rack or prepaid fuel.
- Items no protection covers: rims and tires, towing, impound, traffic fines, and loss of keys, plates or registration card.

How much will you hold as a security deposit?
The amount depends on the car: MXN $8,000 for midsize cars, MXN $12,000 for SUVs and MXN $14,000 for SUV / Minivans. It is lower if you add Full Coverage Superior or Total. It is held on your card at pick-up and released when you return the car.

Of course we want you to feel like you are driving your own car, so your pet is welcome. Remember that in the event of stains, dirt and odours caused by your pet, we will charge for deep cleaning, washing and/or deodorising the car.
